NCAT excluded witnesses from a hearing because its phone system could not handle more than four participants on external lines. We have since found out that because of the pandemic the presiding member was probably conducting the hearing from home on an iPhone which has a technical limit of how many calls it can accept on a party line. This was more than a year into the pandemic so one would expect this problem to have already been encountered and remedied. The number of participants was known in advance.
