She has also been to the police on a number of occasions accusing me of stalking her and demanding that they charge me with the criminal offence of using a carriage service to menace, harass and cause offence. Eventually the South Melbourne police did contact me over her complaints but acknowledged there was nothing in what she had shown them that could be seen as a threat or cause offence. As to her stalking allegations, I pointed out to the police that I spend very little time in Melbourne anyway and have not lived there permanently since the 1970’s. I also learned while I was in court that she had tried to have me taken off Facebook and have my postings pulled down. It seems that when none of these things got the results she was looking for, this was when she went to the courts to obtain a personal safety order against me.
Have Political Extremists Infiltrated Our Activism?
AASGAA’s leader has accused key members of our alternative groups here in Australia fighting guardianship and administration abuse of trolling and sabotaging her group’s Facebook page, engaging in fraudulent activities against our own family members, and of having been in and out of gaol with criminal convictions. I am one of three persons AASGAA’s leader has falsely accused of personally stalking and bullying her leaving her in fear for her
life . Her allegations against us are completely and utterly false and without foundation and I have had my lawyer take out proceedings for defamation against her.
These allegations were made on AASGAA’s Facebook page over a period of 8 months, between September 2020 and May 2021, before I became aware that they had been publicly posted. AASGAA had blocked me from viewing what was said and I only found out about the postings after engaging a publicist to organise media coverage for members of our NSW group. The publicist cancelled the agreement I was about to sign with her on learning of the allegations made in AASGAA’s postings of 23rd May 2021. She did not want clients on her books when there were such serious allegations hanging over their heads. I later learned the defamatory postings dated as far back as September 2020 and that I had actually been mentioned by name in what was posted.
Initially, I simply denied AASGAA’s allegations against me without raising any concerns of my own. However, AASGAA’s leader was using ABC journalist Anne Connolly’s membership of AASGAA to discredit the NSW and QLD groups. She was informing members that Anne Connolly only takes up membership of groups with sound reputations and had taken up membership of similar type advocacy groups overseas in preference to joining the alternative groups here in Australia. This was part of her conversation in letting supporters know that if they wanted to get their stories told on Four Corners they would need to go through her group. It was this that led me to drawing attention to the backgrounds and agendas of the organisations with which AASGAA is affiliated.
AASGAA has stated publicly on Facebook that its only links are with trusted groups and advocates with impeccable backgrounds. It went on to say that its only links are with NASGA (Elaine Renoire) and Marti Oakley of TS Radio Network in the U.S. TS Radio is known for pushing extreme right wing propaganda and strongly supported the riots Donald Trump incited on Capitol Hill in his attempt to remain president. AASGAA’s members regularly take part in TS Radio’s programmes. In one such
programme (at 29m08s) they were told to rise up with armaments against our law enforcers. This was their solution to stopping the police from breaking up the illegal anti lockdown rallies AASGAA was involved with during the pandemic. AASGAA’s leader was
TS Radio’s guest at the time. She expressed no objections or horror at having such a notion put to her.
AASGAA promoted these illegal rallies on social media and Its leader travelled up from Melbourne for the rallies held in Sydney on 31st August 2021. This was at a time when the state borders between NSW and Victoria were closed. She featured prominently in Channel 7 news bulletins that day with video footage showing her being arrested outside Government House in Sydney and failing to wear a face mask when It was mandatory to do so at the time. These rallies were organised by well known conspiracy theorist, Karen Brewer, who fled to New Zealand rather than pay $875,000 in damages, which the Federal Court had ordered her to pay for falsely accusing Mildura MP, Anne Webster, on Facebook of being a member of a paedophile network.
AASGAA’s Facebook was one of the main vehicles used to promote Karen Brewer’s rallies in Australia. Many of those connected with our groups felt we should not be getting involved with outside issues which did nothing to advance our cause. Certainly AASGAA’s involvement with such a controversial public figure as Karen Brewer raised the concerns of many who felt that promoting her agendas would only damage our own credibility. Karen Brewer has had many videos circulating over the years containing foul mouthed tirades and messages likely to stir up racial hatred along with holding rallies outside Government House in the various state capitals and threatening to storm them. These are not the sorts of things we should be associating ourselves with if we want to gain the support of the general public in our fight against the guardianship system.
I therefore found it very concerning that Anne Connolly should have heavily promoted AASGAA’s leader on Four Corners and presented her group as your grassroots ordinary everyday advocacy group that speaks out on behalf of our movement when its links are with organisations like TS Radio and it has promoted Karen Brewer’s political agendas on its Facebook page which are anything but ordinary. AASGAA does front as your moderate everyday group and members only learn of its connections with conspiracy theorists and so called “sovereign citizens” and other fringe elements after they get involved. Our alternative groups here in Australia have no connections with these extremist elements that would only damage our credibility.
Anne Connolly had been sent a link to the video footage showing AASGAA’s leader being arrested at the illegal anti lockdown rallies in Sydney along with a link to the audio recording where AASGAA’s members were told to take up armaments against the law enforcers brought in to break up their rallies. However, Anne Connolly went ahead and promoted AASGAA’s leader and her group on the Four Corners programme and in subsequent print articles regardless. This has resulted in a substantial increase in AASGAA’s membership many of whom are likely to be indoctrinated with TS Radio’s radical and extreme agendas. Unfortunately this has done a great deal of damage to all the good work Anne Connolly did in exposing public trustee and guardianship abuses to a much wider section of the Australian public.
AASGAA’s leader has sworn under oath in court that she is not the woman in the
video footage shown being arrested at the rally in Sydney on 31st August 2021. She claimed she was under lockdown in Melbourne at the time. She also denied to the court that these rallies had been promoted on her group’s Facebook page. I provided the court with screenshot copies of AASGAA promoting the rallies that took place on that date and links to the video footage of her arrest and audio recording where AASGAA’s members were told to rise up with armaments against the authorities. However, the magistrate at the hearing told me that I had not provided this material in the correct format and therefore it could not be included as evidence.
AASGAA’s leader had been to the Magistrate’s Court in Melbourne and obtained a Personal Safety Intervention Order (PSIO) against me, better known as an AVO or DVO to most of those connected with our groups. She was able to do this without producing a single shred of evidence to support her application that she was in any sort of danger because of me. In fact, I was not even notified there was to be a hearing when she was granted the initial order, so was not there to oppose her application. The court simply gave her the order without making any findings and kept the order in place at subsequent hearings. The court most certainly did not find that I had harassed and stalked her as she alluded to but did not actually say in her carefully worded and misleading posting put up on her website following the court hearing held last June.
I want to make very clear that I have never threatened, harassed or stalked AASGAA’s leader whether it be in person, online or by any other means. All of my postings are out there for everybody to see. Nobody gets blocked from viewing what I have posted as I have nothing to hide. I do not go using social media to make abusive or offensive remarks but I will use social media to report wrongdoing and those responsible for it. I have not communicated directly with AASGAA’s leader since December 2019 and I did not reply to either of the two insulting self-destructing emails she has sent me since then. However, I did respond publicly when I became aware in May 2021 that she had been publishing serious allegations concerning me which were false and untrue but my responses were always to deny her allegations rather than to threaten or harass her.
As to her allegations of me physically stalking her, I did observe the protest rally that she held in Sydney against the NSW Public Trustee on 14th May 2021 just prior to the second round of Covid-19 lockdowns. She had made it clear to NSW group members that they were not welcome at her rally so I watched it from across the street. Afterwards she accused me on Facebook of having stalked her there and of hiding behind street posts to take photographs. She also told the court I was still stalking her around the city streets three hours after her rally ended. Street video footage will reveal that is not true while my Opal card will show that I caught the ferry to Manly not long after her rally finished.
The real purpose behind AASGAA’s leader obtaining a personal safety order has nothing to do with her personal safety as I am certainly not a threat to her. It is all about stopping me from speaking the truth as she does not want the truth to be told. Under her PSIO I am not allowed to mention her by name or to publicly identify her as she has had herself declared a protected person from me. I could go to gaol for what I am saying right now even though I have not mentioned her name. However, it is far more important that I don’t allow myself to be intimidated by her misuse of the court system and that we are kept fully informed about her dubious outside fringe connections and what their real agendas are all about.
The facts are she promotes the causes of extremist political fringe elements on AASGAA’s Facebook page which have nothing to do with our cause. She was involved and took part in their illegal anti lockdown rallies held during the pandemic and it was her shown in video footage being arrested outside Government House in Sydney, regardless of her telling the court and everybody else that it was not her. No amount of denials on her part changes any of this or of her links with organisations advocating the use of armaments against the authorities. She can use her close association with Anne Connolly of the ABC to establish her credentials, as she did with me in court, but it still does not alter the facts concerning her. I am determined to see that those facts come out and that we find out who she really is and what exactly is going on.
